The agreement

These terms cover your use of sonex at getsonex.com and the analytics dashboard. By creating an account or running the tracker, you agree to them. If you are using sonex for an organization, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.

These terms are an agreement between you and Electric Bonfire LLC.

02

What the service does

sonex is privacy-first web analytics. You add a website, install a lightweight tracker, and read reports on your traffic. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or improve features over time.

03

Your account

You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your access secure and let us know if you suspect it has been compromised. You must be able to form a binding contract to use sonex.

04

Acceptable use

Use sonex only for sites and data you are entitled to measure. Do not:

  • Use the tracker to collect personal data it is not designed to collect, or to circumvent its privacy model.
  • Send data you have no right to process, or use sonex to track people unlawfully.
  • Abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or resell the service.
  • Break the law or infringe others' rights while using sonex.
05

Plans and billing

Monthly card subscriptions include a tracked-event allowance. Usage above the allowance is billed at the rate shown at signup, up to the overage cap; events beyond that cap are dropped. You can cancel through the customer portal at any time; future billing stops, and access continues to the end of the paid period.

A prepaid stablecoin (USDC) term buys 6 or 12 months in advance. It does not renew, cannot be cancelled part-way, and is hard-capped at its included events. Access ends at the end of the term. A full refund ends the access it bought; a partial refund does not change access.

Plan fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. For customers outside the countries we bill directly, shown at checkout, Stripe is the merchant of record for the sale.

06

Your data

Your analytics data is yours. You can delete a website and its analytics at any time from that website's settings, and you can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account by email. Our handling of it is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

07

Suspension and termination

You can close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to protect the service, and where practical we will tell you why.

08

Warranty and liability

The service is provided on an as-is basis without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, sonex is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

09

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will update the date above and, for material changes, notify account holders. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Cookies, install and pricing, answered. Still stuck? Ask us anything .

01 Can sonex show revenue next to my traffic?

Yes. Connect Stripe or Polar with a read-only key and sonex reads revenue straight from your payment provider, per website. Revenue then appears as a focusable series on the Overview chart and as its own report, beside the traffic that earned it. No tracked event is needed for it to work.

02 Does sonex use cookies?

No. sonex sets no cookies and needs no consent banner. It counts visits without cookies, fingerprinting, or any personal data, so it is GDPR, PECR and CCPA-ready by default.

03 How do I install sonex?

Add one script tag to your site's <head> with your website id. It is a single lightweight tracker — no build step and no SDK required.

04 Is sonex a Google Analytics alternative?

Yes. sonex gives you the reports that matter — visitors, pages, referrers, funnels, revenue and a world map — without surveilling your audience or drowning you in configuration.

05 How is sonex priced?

By monthly tracked events. Free covers 2k events, Pro is $20/mo for 200k events, Pro Plus is $99/mo for 1M events, and Business is $200/mo for 2M events with unlimited team seats.

06 How can I pay for sonex?

Pay by card for a monthly subscription, or pay once in stablecoin (USDC) for 6 or 12 months up front at a discount. USDC is available only in the countries sonex bills directly; checkout shows the options for the country you choose.
